CKL provided Phase I Engineering services for the reconstruction of the University Park Metra station, the southern terminus of the Metra Electric Main Line. Located in Will County, Illinois, it is the second furthest south Metra station in the Chicagoland area, attracting many riders from the surrounding area and areas further south.

CKL is supporting the CREATE Program, a nationally significant initiative comprising of 70 projects aimed at improving the efficiency of freight, commuter, and intercity passenger rail systems in the Chicago region. By focusing on timely execution and fostering collaboration with stakeholders, our efforts will facilitate smoother transit operations and minimize delays, ultimately strengthening Chicago's rail network while reducing road traffic.
